Mystery Chef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 full c. dry split green peas
    3 pt. water
    1 can bouillon or make with water and vegetable flavoring
    1 can tomato soup
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Place peas in large saucepan without lid and add 3 pints of cold water.
    Bring to boiling point.
    Allow to simmer until water cooks down and the peas are cooked to a soft wet paste.
    Be careful not to let peas burn.
    (Use heavy pan.)
    Add the 2 cans of soup; stir and allow to simmer for a few minutes.
    Season to taste.
    If soup is too thick, add a little water.
