Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 unbaked pie crust
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy.
(Sugar should be added gradually.)
Blend in vanilla and eggs, one at a time.
Add flour and salt.
Gradually add buttermilk.
Sprinkle pecans in pie shell.
Pour filling over pecans.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours. Serve at room temperature.
