Bread Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 Tbsp. melted fat (Crisco, Spry or unsalted chicken fat)
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 to 2 Tbsp. unsalted stock
    1 c. low sodium bread crumbs (you may use low sodium hot water cornbread)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. sage
Preparation
    Melt the fat in the frying pan; add the onion and saute until tender.
    Add the low sodium bread crumbs and seasonings and mix well.
    Add the stock.
    This is a light, loose stuffing.
    It can be varied by leaving out the onion or the sage, by adding a little garlic or by adding unsalted nuts or raisins.
