Selma'S Virginia Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream the butter and Crisco.
Add sugar and continue to cream about 10 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, by folding them in. Add cake flour, a little at a time.
Slowly add milk, then flavorings.
Add baking powder last.
