Scalloped Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sharp grated cheese
1 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 slices white bread

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cut off the crust of bread.
Butter bread on both sides and cut each into 4 quarters.
Place layer of bread on bottom of oiled casserole.
Layer cheese and bread alternately in casserole.
Mix well the milk, beaten eggs and salt.
Pour liquid mixture into the casserole over the bread.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes until brown.
Serves 4 as a main dish, 6 as a side dish.
