Barbecued Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 bell pepper, diced
    1/2 small onion, finely chopped
    1 egg
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    garlic powder to taste
    celery salt to taste
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    4 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
Preparation
    Put beef, pepper, onion, egg and bread crumbs in bowl and mix. Shape into four 1/4 pound patties. Season each with garlic powder and onion salt to taste.
    Brush each burger with olive oil to prevent burning.
    Grill patties, basting with barbecue sauce. Flip and baste with more sauce.
    Serve with platter of sliced red onions and tomatoes, with or without buns.
    Good with corn on the cob and potato salad.
