Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    enough apples to cover bottom of 9 x 9-inch pan
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. oil
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Slice apples, put on bottom of pan, sprinkle with cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar mixed. Mix in bowl 1 cup sugar, eggs, oil, flour, baking soda and vanilla.
    Drop by spoonfuls on apples.
    Spread and sprinkle a little cinnamon and sugar mixture on top.
    (If still doughy, just cover with foil and continue baking a few more minutes.)
    If larger pan is used, multiply recipe by 1 1/2.
