Pumpkin Tomato Chutney - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. fresh pumpkin
    1 lb. ripe tomatoes
    1/2 lb. onions
    2 oz. raisins
    3/4 lb. brown sugar
    3/4 lb. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. peppercorns
    2 tsp. allspice berries
    2 cloves garlic
    1 1/4 pt. vinegar
Preparation
    Peel pumpkin, discard seeds and scrape out center.
    Slice and cut into 2 x 1 x 1/2-inch pieces.
    Peel and slice tomatoes.
    Peel and slice onions and press garlic.
    Crush peppercorns and allspice in a mortar.
    Put all ingredients in large pan.
    Bring gently to a boil.
    Cook very slowly and stir often.
    When jammy, put into jars.
