Prawns - Spiced And Brewed - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. prawns (large, fresh or frozen, shell on)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. pickling spice or a shrimp and crab boil
    4 (12 oz.) cans Budweiser light beer
Preparation
    Pour all ingredients into a slow cooker and cook covered for 5 hours.
    Cut prawns along their back from end to just before the tail, leaving the shell and tail on.
    Remove the vein; rinse and refrigerate until ready to use.
    After 5 hours of cooking ingredients, turn slow cooker to high and add enough water to fill the slow cooker to above half full.
    Cook an additional 1/2 hour. Add prawns and cook until they turn pink, about 10 to 15 minutes. Remove shells and eat hot or cold.
