Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium apples, cored, peeled and sliced
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 white cake mix
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. melted margarine
Preparation
    Layer the sliced apples in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Mix cinnamon in the boiling water and pour over apple slices.
    In separate bowl, combine cake mix, butter and brown sugar.
    Mix well; it will be crumbly.
    Sprinkle this over the apple mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
    Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip.
