Cracker Jack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. popped corn
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    peanuts (optional)
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/8 c. corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Put popped corn in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in a saucepan.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly around the edge.
    Cook 5 minutes more. Remove from heat; stir in soda until foamy.
    Pour over popcorn and stir until well coated.
    Bake 1 hour in 200\u00b0 oven, stirring every 15 minutes.
