Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 pt. oysters
    1 qt. heated milk
Preparation
    Blend first 4 ingredients into smooth paste.
    Stir into 1 pint oysters.
    Simmer oyster mix over very low heat until edges begin to curl.
    Add to 1 quart of heated milk and heat over very low heat (do not let boil).
    Heavy cream added instead of part of the milk and some butter will add to the flavor.
    This can heat for several hours; even better the second day.
