Devil Dogs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 c. cocoa
2 tsp. salt
1 c. hot water
2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and beat.
Add milk, vanilla, flour and cocoa.
Dissolve the soda in hot water and add to mixture.
Beat and then drop by teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 4 to 6 minutes.
