Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in egg and vanilla.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Stir into a cream mixture.
    Make about 5 dozen small cookies.
    Chill dough for 1 hour.
    Roll out cookies, place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
