Macaroni Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. pkg. elbow macaroni
    1/2 lb. WI. mild cheese
    butter
    1/2 small onion, chopped fine
    8 slices crisply fried crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Cook macaroni and drain well. Grate 1/2 pound cheese into buttered casserole dish. Put in half the macaroni. Dot with butter. Add onion. Sprinkle with grated cheese (use half for each layer). Add another layer of macaroni, butter, onion, salt, pepper and cheese. Cover with bacon. Bake about 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
