Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white/yellow corn meal
    1 c. flour
    1 1/4 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. milk or water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Sift meal and flour together in bowl.
    Mix in other ingredients.
    Melt the 1/4 cup shortening in bread pan.
    Pour mixture in greased pan.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
