Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. self-rising flour
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and beat well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients until dough is stiff.
    Roll in wax paper and chill.
    Slice and bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
