Harvest Fruit Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (11 oz.) pkg. mixed dried fruits
1/3 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Cover fruit with cold water and simmer gently, covered, for 25 to 30 minutes.
Add sugar for the last 5 minutes.
Drain the fruit and reserve the syrup.
Add cold water to reserved syrup to make 1 1/2 cups.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Stir in the reserved syrup.
Chill until partly set.
Pit prunes; cut up all fruit into small chunks.
Fold in to gelatin mixture.
Pour into mold and chill several hours.
Serves 8.
