Cabbage Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground turkey
    1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 or 2 garlic cloves, chopped
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. sweet basil
    1/4 tsp. crushed red peppers (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1 head green cabbage, chopped
    1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1 tsp. dried parsley
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    6 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Saute turkey, onion, bell pepper and garlic in skillet sprayed with nonstick spray.
    Boil cabbage in water, covered, just until tender-crisp.
    Reserve 1 cup cabbage liquid and add with tomato paste, mushrooms, Italian seasoning, basil, parsley, red pepper, salt and pepper to meat mixture.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    In a 9 x 9 x 2-inch square casserole, layer half meat mixture, drained cabbage and remaining meat mixture.
    Top with Mozzarella.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
    Cut into 6 serving squares.
