Graham Cracker Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 graham crackers, rolled fine
    1 tsp. flour
    1/2 c. shortening or butter, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 eggs, separated
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix graham crackers, flour, 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and melted butter for pie crust.
    Take half of mixture and pack into pie pan.
    Combine egg yolks, milk, 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch and vanilla and cook until this mixture thickens.
    Pour into the pie pan.
    Whip together the egg whites and 3 Tbsp. sugar.
    Whip until it forms a thick meringue and spread on top of custard.
    Sprinkle remaining cracker crumb mixture over top of meringue.
    Bake in moderate oven, 325\u00b0, until meringue is brown.
    Serves 6.
