Wine Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 slightly rounded Tbsp. baking powder
1 c. oil
1 c. dry red wine
1 egg yolk, beaten
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl.
Make a well in the center; add oil and wine.
Mix together thoroughly.
Pinch off pieces of dough about 1-inch in diameter.
Roll pieces between palms into cigarette-shaped cylinders, then bring ends together and pinch to form circles.
Place on ungreased baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg yolk.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes, until bottoms look dry.
Makes about 5 dozen.
