Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    12 oz. baking chips
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream together butter, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing until well blended.
    Add chips and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Makes about 5 dozen 3-inch cookies.
