Emergency Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. sliced carrots
    1 green pepper
    1 or 2 sweet red peppers
    3 medium onions, sliced
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 c. tender green beans
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground mustard
Preparation
    Chop all peppers.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Cook slow until vegetables are tender, but not soft.
    Hot pack in hot jars and seal.
