Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. cake flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 c. molasses

Preparation

Stir shortening to soften.
Add dry ingredients.
Add milk and stir until flour is dampened, then beat 2 minutes.
Add eggs and molasses and beat one minute longer.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
