Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts or coconut (optional)
2 to 3 c. oatmeal
Preparation

Bring sugar, margarine, milk and cocoa to a boil, stirring constantly.
Take off heat and add peanut butter, vanilla, nuts or coconut and oatmeal.
Stir well and pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan, or drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper.
