Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks oleo
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. sugar for egg whites
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks, one at a time.
    Add flour, alternating with buttermilk in which soda has been dissolved.
    Add extracts.
    Add beaten egg whites to which 1/2 cup sugar has been added.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in a Bundt pan, greased.
