Butter Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
2 slightly beaten eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. each: salt, soda and cream of tartar

Preparation

Beat together butter,
sugar,
powdered
sugar and oil. Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat
until
fluffy.
Sift flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar.
Add
to creamed mixture.
Form into 5 rolls. Chill or freeze; slice.
Press down with bottom of a glass; sprinkle with sugar.
Bake
at
350\u00b0
for
10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets immediately.
Cool on racks.
