Grandma B'S Green Tomato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sliced green tomatoes (about 6 large)
    1 medium lemon, sliced thinly
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 c. white sugar or brown
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Bring tomatoes and lemon to boil over medium heat.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Combine cornstarch and water.
    Stir into tomato mix.
    Add sugar, margarine, cinnamon and salt.
    Stir.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat; cool slightly.
    Place in 9-inch pie plate with pie crust and cover with another crust.
    Cut vents to allow steam to escape. Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Bake 35 minutes until golden brown.
