Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2/3 c. butter
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. jam
Preparation
    Mix eggs, sugar and buttermilk and stir well.
    Sift dry ingredients together; add to batter.
    Mix well and add 1 cup jam. Line pan and bake 1 hour in 300\u00b0 oven.
