Gingered Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 12 pieces chicken
4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. dark brown sugar
2 garlic cloves
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. chopped ginger
1 chopped citronella or 1 drop citronella essence (found in drugstores)
2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Mix chicken with spices and marinate for at least 15 minutes. Heat pan and add 2 tablespoons cooking oil.
Add chicken with spices over low heat until golden.
Add sugar to caramelize.
Add 1/2 cup water and cook, covered, 30 to 45 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
