Angel Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Cream together Crisco and sugar.
    Stir in egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar and then mix well into creamed ingredients.
    Chill overnight in refrigerator or for few hours.
    Roll in small balls about the size of hickory nut. Press down little with fork.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes to a delicate brown.
    Loosen from pan while still warm.
