Red Wine Marinated Lamb Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cloves garlic
    1 c. red wine
    4 (3/4-inch thick) shoulder lamb chops (about 2 lb.)
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mince the garlic.
    Combine it with the wine in a shallow baking dish.
    Add the chops; turn them to coat with the marinade.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Heat the broiler.
    Remove the chops from the marinade and scrape off the garlic.
    Put the chops on a rack in a broiler pan.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Broil until brown, about 5 minutes on each side.
