Heath Bar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. real butter
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/4 lb. crushed saltines (to line cookie sheet)
    1 c. ground nuts (optional)
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt sugar and butter in saucepan; bring this to a boil for 5 minutes.
    Pour mixture over saltine crackers.
    Then bake in 400\u00b0 oven (preheated oven).
    Bake exactly 5 minutes.
    Remove from oven; sprinkle chocolate chips over and then spread with a knife over the baked mixture.
    Sprinkle ground nuts over chocolate.
    When cooled, may cut or break into pieces.
