Chocolate Kiss Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter, softened
    2/3 c. creamy peanut butter (room temperature)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 doz. foil wrapped chocolate kisses
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Sift flour with baking soda and salt; set aside.
    In large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter and peanut butter until well blended.
    Add 1 cup sugar and brown sugar.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth.
    Stir in flour mixture until well combined.
    Using level tablespoonful for each, shape into 5 dozen balls.
    Roll each in granulated sugar.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 8 minutes and remove from oven. Press an unwrapped chocolate kiss on each; bake 2 minutes longer.
