Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dates
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 c. coconut
    Rice Krispies
Preparation
    Chop dates and cook in 1 cup water on low heat for 2 hours. Mash dates and add the coconut and stir well.
    Add enough Rice Krispies to make a very stiff mixture.
    Form into walnut size balls and roll in coconut and place on cookie sheet.
    Refrigerate for several hours.
    Store in container.
    (May be stored in freezer.)
