Chocolate Chip Pecan Mounds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 slightly beaten egg whites
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    In large mixer bowl, beat butter until softened.
    Add brown sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Add egg yolk and vanilla and beat well.
    Add flour and beat until well mixed.
    Stir in chocolate pieces.
    Cover and chill about 1 hour or until easy to handle. Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Roll in egg whites, then in nuts.
