Best Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. ground walnuts
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Mix together softened butter, cake mix and 1/3 evaporated milk.
    Divide batter in half and press half into a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes and remove from oven.
    Sprinkle chips over hot batter and walnuts over chips.
    Pour hot caramels over walnuts. Crumble the rest of the cake batter over the
    top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
    Brownies will harden after cooling.
