Placerville Angel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. (approximately) flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
12 hen eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Take 1 pound soda box, cut 2 1/2 inches from the bottom; fill with sugar.
Sift sugar 7 times.
Fill \"measuring box\" with flour and cream of tartar, sifting 7 times.
