Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz. each) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, unthawed
    2 to 3 bananas, thinly sliced
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. chopped, toasted pecans
    1 c. sour cream or heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Mix gelatin and boiling water until the gelatin is dissolved. Add strawberries and stir until thick.
    Add the bananas, pineapple and nuts.
    Pour half of mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Refrigerate until set.
    Spread with sour cream or whipped cream. Then cover with the remaining gelatin mixture.
    Refrigerate. Serves 10 to 12.
