Swedish Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. dark Karo syrup
    1 Tbsp. water
    3 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Beat in egg, syrup and water.
    Stir in sifted dry ingredients.
    Chill.
    Roll to 1/8-inch thick and cut in desired shapes.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
