Butterscotch Cashew Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c and 2 tbsp butter or marg, softened
    3/4 c and 2 tbsp packed brown sugar
    2-1/2 c flour
    1-3/4 tsp salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and brown sugar.
    Combine flour and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture just until combined.
    Press into a greased 15x10x1 cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned. Spread topping (recipe to follow) over crust. Sprinkle with cashews, pressing down lightly. Bake 11-13 minutes or until topping is bubbly and lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Cut into bars.
