Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Butter Gold (yellow) cake mix
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring to boil in heavy saucepan.
    Add the cup of reserved batter.
    Cook until thickened, as in cream gravy.
    Pour over warm cake.
