Oatmeal A B C'S - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 c. quick cooking oats (not instant), uncooked
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In a large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs.
Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix well.
Stir in oats, raisins and pecans.
Dough will be stiff. Refrigerate dough, covered, until chilled or as long as overnight. Reheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Shape rounded tablespoonfuls of dough into letters.
Place on lightly buttered baking sheets about 1-inch apart.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove; let cookies stand on baking sheets for 2 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Makes 4 dozen cookies.
