Candied Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. candied cherries
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    8 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix well with hands; pack and press tightly in a pan with a hole in middle.
    Cook at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Don't overcook.
    Turn out; wrap loosely in foil.
    Store in cool place.
    Will keep indefinitely in freezer.
