Corn Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. (rounding full) fresh corn
    2 c. diced celery
    3 c. shredded cabbage
    4 large onions, diced
    1 large can pimiento or 1 partly sweet red pepper
    3 c. white sugar
    1 3/4 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. ground mustard or 1 Tbsp. table mustard
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3/4 Tbsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Put all ingredients together in a large kettle.
    Mix well. Heat just to boiling.
    Do not boil because the corn will shrivel. Stir real good and, when hot, put in heated jars and lids and seal.
