Raisin And Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

1 c. raisins
1 c. pecans (whole), broken
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
3/4 c. oleo
1 c. canned milk
5 egg yolks
1 Tbsp. vanilla
5 egg whites
5 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Cook in saucepan all ingredients, except egg whites, 5 tablespoons sugar and vanilla, until thick and caramel colored. Pour in a baked pie shell.
Make meringue with egg whites, adding remaining sugar a little at a time.
Add vanilla.
Brown.
Serves 8.
