Sicilian Meatball Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    1 small onion, minced
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/3 c. grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    6 c. chicken broth
    8 oz. egg noodles
    grated Romano or Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
Preparation
    Combine beef, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, bread crumbs, 1/3 cup cheese, salt and pepper in bowl.
    Shape into little 1-inch meatballs.
    Set aside.
    Bring broth to boil.
    Drop meatballs in, then add the noodles.
    Simmer until meatballs are cooked (about 8 to 10 minutes).
    Ladle into bowls and sprinkle generously with grated cheese.
    Serves 4 to 6.
