*Six Week Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) box Post Raisin Bran
    2 c. sugar
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. soda
    2 c. melted shortening
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 qt. buttermilk
    2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. raisins (my addition)
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients well in a large mixing bowl. Store in covered containers in the refrigerator.
    Keeps 6 to 8 weeks.
    To bake, fill muffin tins 2/3 full.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Makes total of 6 dozen or more.
