Luscious Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    additional grated lemon rind (optional)
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sour cream
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, 1 tablespoon lemon rind, butter, lemon juice and egg yolks in a heavy saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly.
    Cover and cool.
    Pour sour cream into filling and pour into pie shell. Chill 2 hours before serving.
    Top with whipped cream; garnish with lemon rind, if desired.
