German Cucumbers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large cucumber
1/3 c. vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Slice cucumber (peeled).
Salt slices and place in a deep bowl. Weigh it down with a saucer to draw out the juice.
Leave overnight.
Squeeze out all juice from cucumbers.
Then place in brine of vinegar, sugar, milk, salt and pepper.
Let stand several hours.
